Davis Cleveland with Maci Drewry and Rio

Goodevening bloggers and readers! I'm here at my computer somewhere on the planet Earth, listening to music from "Shake It Up", here to tell you about what Davis Cleveland is up to RIGHT NOW!

Well, currently he is on his pet bird's twitter, Rio (@RioCleveland). Rio is a "five month old Sun Conure who is bffs with @DavisCleveland and his little brother, Jack". He was recently adopted into the Cleveland family, and Davis made a twitter for him. In his first day on Twitter, Davis reached 1,000 followers, and he is currently at 1,315 followers. And get this: if you want Rio to follow you on Twitter, all you have to do is ask and he will follow. He "Tweets" often, and believe me, this bird has "TWAG" so go follow him!

In other news, one of Davis' biggest fans, Maci Drewry, met Davis Cleveland yesterday, and they've been hanging out in LA ever since, including on the "Shake It Up" set. For those of you who have not read any previous posts, Maci Drewry (@MaciDrewry on Twitter), has Cystic Fibrosis and she is a big Davis Cleveland fan. Davis started following her on July 9th of this year and Davis has been helping with CF awareness and even encouraging people to follow Maci and donate to finding a cure for CF. Recently, (to the best of my knowledge), Davis invited Maci to come to LA and go to the Shake It Up set and watch a live taping. So, inbetweet practices for the D23 performance on Sunday and learning the latest episode of SIU, Davis has been hanging out with Maci and her family. Maci has given permission to use her pictures on this blog. (This is subject to change should Maci ever wish to change her mind.)

This first picture was uploaded 21 hours ago (yesterday) by Maci via Twitter. "Had so much fun with @DavisCleveland tonight," was Maci's tweet. The photo has had 161 views so far. I must say when I saw this picture I felt a hit of jealousy (meeting Davis is my biggest dream), however I felt very happy for her, and I still do. It is great that Maci is being able to be with one of her favorite TV stars.










These next couple of pictures are of Maci, Davis, and what I can only assume are family to one or both of them.

The next two pictures are very cute pictures of Maci and Davis.

One thing I like to see in these pictures, knowing they were taken today, is seeing how much Davis has grown since he first started "Shake It Up". I don't know about you readers, but I can deffinitely see some aging going on. He's still the same old Davis, just a little older.

Now, before I sign off, I want to go over something I mentioned above. The Shake it Up cast will be performing (I'm assuming Dancing) at the D23 expo this Sunday in LA. The day after it happens, I will be searching the internet desperately for videos of the dance, and you should be able to see that right here.
Also, if Maci posts any more pictures of Davis, they will appear on this blog (unless of course Maci feels uncomfortable with sharing them over a blog. I speak directly to you Maci when I say if you should ever, and I mean EVER feel uncomfortable with these and future pictures on this blog, feel free to tell me to remove them without hesitation. Just tweet me, @wannameetDavisC, and I will personally remove them as soon as I possibly can. (keep in mind I have school, and blogger is blocked there, so if you tell me while I'm in school, it may have to wait until I get home.) ).

Davis Cleveland Update 8/14/11

Davis Cleveland's relaxing days of vacation in Texas are coming to an end this morning. He is going back to Los Angeles right now to meet Maci Drewry (@MaciDrewry on Twitter, the girl with Cystic Fibrosis that Davis Cleveland has said if you follow her, he will follow you), to go to lunch at around 2 PM today, and then they will attend a live taping of "Shake It Up" sometime this week.

The above picture is when Davis Cleveland responded to me when I asked him about vacation. If you are going to the D23 Expo next weekend, Davis Cleveland and the rest of the cast of Shake It Up will be attending, and even dancing. If someone posts a video online, I will post it here.

I have also talked to Maci Drewry, who says that she will take pictures whilst with Davis Cleveland. I have not asked yet, but I am hoping to get permission from her to post these pictures on this blog.

That's the update on Davis Cleveland. As Davis would say, "Davis has left the building..."

Update on Davis

Davis Cleveland is in Texas right now. He is in his hometown of Sugar Land, Texas. If you happen to see him, please get his autograph for me. I cannot make it to see him due to family vacations, but if you get the chance, say hi!

By the way, because of his vacation, Davis has told me via Twitter that he will miss a couple episodes of SHAKE IT UP. He will be missed in those episodes.


Before leaving, Davis attended the Phineas & Ferb: Across the Second Dimension teal carpet premiere. I am out of town, so I do not have internet right now, but when I get it, I will find pictures.

Davis Cleveland's Favorite Ice Cream

Hey everyone. An amazing thing happened today. I felt like randomly asking a question to Davis via Twitter for the blog. I chose the question, "What's your favorite ice cream flavor?" because on the episode "Break It Up" (AKA "Summer It Up"), Davis' character, Flynn Jones, is bribed by ice cream, so I was curious. Anyway, he responded with "Blue Bell anything." I asked him what "Blue Bell" was and it turns out, it's an Ice Cream brand, to which he commented, "its a Texas THANG". So there you have it.

Break It Up

Hey everyone, sorry it's a little late but here's my review of "Break It Up", the episode of Shake It Up that premiered last night.

Break It Up is the 20th episode of Shake It Up. It's about the entire cast going on vacation to a lake. When they get there, they realize that they have no electionics, (no TV, no cell reception, etc.). Flynn is also worried about a monster that is said to reside in the lake. There is also one more problem: Gunther and Tinka have rented the cabin next door.

At night, Rocky, Cece, Ty, Duce, Gunther, and Tinka play "Truth or Dare" by the camp fire. Cece dares Rocky to go jump in the lake. She refuses at first, but when everyone pressures her, she ends up jumping in. While coming out of the water, she steps on a broken bottle and cuts her foot deep to the bone.

Rocky is taken to the hospital, where she is schedualed to have a minor surgery the next morning. Rocky worries about her future as a dancer on "Shake It Up Chicago" and her friendship with Cece.

Back at the cabin, Flynn stays with Gunther and Tinka. Flynn is still worried about the monster, and Gunther and Tinka even play a joke to scare him.

SPOILER ALERT: DO NOT READ ON UNTIL THE SPOILERS ARE OVER

Rocky is getting prepped for surgery, and Cece is worried about Rocky, so she prays that Rocky will be okay. Rocky comes out of surgery and the doctors say that she will be better in 6 weeks.

END SPOILER ALERT

This was a very memorable episode. Out of five stars, I'd give it a 4 1/2, mainly due to Flynn's minor role in the episode. It is a must see, as the part where Cece prays can be very touching. I am an atheist, and even I was ready to start crying because it was touching how much she cared for her friend.

The next new episode of "Shake It Up" does not premiere until August 21st (probobly giving Rocky time to heal).

My Interactions with Davis Cleveland and Buddy Handleson on Twitter

Hello everyone, It's a beautiful day, especially if Davis Cleveland and Buddy Handleson interact with you on Twitter like they did to me.

Okay, so it all started about an hour ago when Davis Cleveland tweeted:

I, being the Davis Cleveland fan that I am, had to reply. Because Davis follows me (see previous entry), I hoped that Davis would see my tweets to him, so I replied, and I got retweeted by Davis himself!

Yeah, it was a pretty happy moment for me. (there was some screaming).

Okay, now you all know Buddy Handleson right? He plays "Henry" on Shake it Up. Well, he reached 5,000 followers today. Now, I've followed Buddy since before I even knew Davis' twitter account, so I've been following him for quite some time. So, because of his milestone, he held a Q & A, which I attended via my phone. I thought for a minute, wondering what question he would be most likely to answer. And then it hit me: Are you going to be on any upcoming Shake It Up episodes?

So I tweeted, and here's the email I recieved:

So, you heard it from him. Buddy Handleson will be in upcoming Shake It Up episodes to make us laugh with Davis Cleveland.

I have one more interaction to share. It's about Buddy again. I'll make it short, because this is a Davis Cleveland fan blog.

See? He retweeted me! Pretty cool!

Now, it has just occured to me, that despite that this is a Davis Cleveland fan blog, I talked a bit more about Buddy Handleson in this post. My reasoning is this: Davis Cleveland and Buddy Handleson are friends, and their characters are very humorous on Shake It Up. Despite that this is a Davis Cleveland fan blog, this blog also deals with the show "Shake It Up" and the actors/actresses on it. Therefore, if there are any interactions between me and a Shake It Up cast memeber, I will post it. This blog will deal mostly with Davis Cleveland, but the news centered around Shake It Up can and may affect Davis too. (For example, the retweeted post by Buddy also says to follow Davis, so he agrees that his friend should be followed too. I did not tell you, however, that many Shake It Up stars are attending the Selena Gomez & The Scene concert tonight because it most likely will not affect Davis in anyway and has nothing to do with Davis.)

Now, before I conclude, just a reminder (and for all you East Coasters, it's too late, sorry) that a brand new episode of "Shake it Up" is on tonight at 8 PM, (Davis is in it), so be sure and catch it on Disney Channel tonight! I will be giving a review of it later tonight or tomorrow.

Davis Cleveland following fans on Twitter.

Hello everyone, it's Carson here. Many of you may know that Davis Cleveland has an official twitter account which he constantly posts on and writes to fans.
Yesterday, Davis said he'd follow anyone who followed his friend @MaciDrewry who is battling cistic fibrosis, that he would follow you. So, I gave it a shot.

That's what I posted. (My twitter account is "wannameetDavisC" if you want to follow me.) About two minutes later, I get this response:

I could not believe what I was seeing! So now Davis Cleveland, THE DAVIS CLEVELAND, follows me on twitter, and he even responded. I was so stoked, I litterally screamed out loud!

For those who do not believe, it has been confirmed that this is Davis Cleveland's true twitter account. There are a lot of fakes out there, but this one is real. To confirm, I looked at his list of followers. Some of his followers include @BUDSTER925 (Buddy Hendleson who plays "Henry" on Shake It Up"), @adamirigoyan,  @Zendaya96, @bellathorne143, and other Disney Channel and Shake It Up stars.

I plan to tell Davis about this blog as soon as I am done with this enrty, so hopefully he'll check it out someday! I look forward to the day I meet him, which I hope is soon, because I am entering the Shake It Up contest on Disney Channel where you get to go to the "Make Your Mark" finals and meet some of the stars of Shake It Up (which I'm hoping includes Davis). I enter every day, so I have alot of entries in there. Here's hoping. (And if anyone reading this blog wins, please get me an autograph! Have him make it out to "Carson".)

Reunion it Up

Tonight, Davis Cleveland was on Shake It Up's episode "Reunion It Up". His part was with Deuce and Ty. Deuce accidentally killed Flynn's goldfish, so Flynn has the boys throw a funeral in his honor. In the end, Flynn gets a baby tarantula as a new pet, but Ty ends up killing it by mistake.

Davis' part was very funny in this episode, involving the funeral, in which he wore a nice suit with sunglasses, and just being himself. To see it, go to Youtube, or watch it on Disney Channel
